Rubber plant is the best indoor plant which is best to keep in the Indian hot humid climate. This plant features gorgeous oval shaped, emerald green leaves and has a quite big lifespan. This evergreen plant is native to the tropical region of Asia. Rubber plant care is very simple and straightforward. Keeping a rubber plant indoors has some health benefits also. This plant helps to purify the surrounding air quality but do remember this plant is toxic to dogs and cats.

• Fertilizer: Feed your plant with a well-balanced rich fertilizer thrice a year. 
• Repotting: You may need to repot your rubber plant every year with a bigger pot to prevent root bound.
• Propagation: Rubber plants can be propagated through stem cutting. Cut at least 6 inches long stem with a root node and plant into potting soil. 

Common problem

• Rubber plants may drop some leaves due to consuming too much water. Water your plant when the upper soil is dry, to prevent this. 
• Overwatering can make rubber plant’s leaves yellow. Let the soil dry a bit before each watering session.

Rubber plants have these bright, broad shiny leaves which will definitely catch the eyes of your guests. You can use this plant on the center table in your living room. Also, can place them in the center or corner tables of the hall rooms, bedrooms, and study rooms.
